First Post: Im A Mommy. And I Blog.

So in my journey, I have been really internally observant.  Getting to know who I am right now, since we are ever changing beings.  One thing that I have found is that while I enjoy journaling much more than I do blogging, I do feel quite a release when I throw simple stories online!  I love my twitter, I like networking and communicating with friends on facebook, I enjoy talking on blog talk radio, and I dig the way there is no pressure.  I tweet when I want, I blog when I want, and I take hiatuses from it all when I feel like it.  When I started my main blog, Love Is The Light (which is still in use, btw), I figured, I would talk about all of my interests.  So there was no specific "special place" for my love of good food, love of good music, love of good art, and of course MOMMY STUFF.  It was all in one pot of LOVE.  Recently though, I realize, these babies take up a major space in my life- which I give happily and willingly.

With that said, Mommy now needs room to talk about only that.  As you can see even above, and of course if u follow me on twitter, fb, or my other blog, you know that these girls are HILARIOUS! And they shock me everyday with their understanding levels, their perspectives, their eagerness, and innocence.  I have embraced the fact that I am a Mommy of little brown girls, who happens to enjoy blogging... Which doesnt necessarily make me a "mommy blogger" right?  Well either way, read it if u like, dont if u dont want to- but here I have created a little outlet for my Yo Gabba Gabba filled, Aspergers stuff, kindergarten woes, revolution that wont be televised teaching, healthy school lunch packing, "who taught u that phrase", kinky and curly black girl hair combin, tap-ballet class costs what?,  where to find the deals on clothes, shoes, ribbons... ALL OF THAT. Everything from dawn till dusk and back.  The "I wanna wear my pink cowboy boots and pajama pants to the store stories of my Mommy triumphs and failures.  WHEW! U see how bad I need this?! Why did I wait so long?

By the way, how do yall like the design?? I totally dig it, felt almost orgasmic when I finished!
